Frequently asked questions

What are the connections and how do you calculate this limit?
A connection occurs when a client (a publisher or a subscriber) establishes active access to an MQTT broker. Therefore, the number of connections equals the number of established concurrent connections between clients and the MQTT broker at any given time.
How do you calculate the messages traffic limit?
The message traffic accounts for all messages entering or leaving the broker. In other words, it represents the amount of data transmitted from and to the broker. The MQTT broker is responsible for logging this information. You can send and receive messages up to 128 KB in size.

But messages are metered in 512 Bytes increments. For example, an 1 KB message is metered as two messages.
